The house is within walking distance of both the historic medieval hilltop village of Oppede le Vieux and the village of Oppede. The beautiful walled garden is a peaceful haven and has an enticing 7 x 4m swimming pool terrace as well as shady areas with views of the Luberon hills. - Inside - Entering through the front door, you will be struck by the proportions of the rooms, which follow the old, sometimes uneven shapes of the original walls, but preserved and celebrated rather than hidden. * Garden Room: This bright and airy room can seat at least 8 people for dining and overlooks the pool and garden. * Dining Room: This can seat at least 8 people for dining and leads into the kitchen, lounge and garden room. * Salon: This large room is a cosy space for relaxing and entertainment. There is an L-shaped sofa and 3 armchairs, a TV and an ornate fireplace. * Kitchen: The stainless steel kitchen is well equipped with all the cooking appliances you could need including double ovens, large induction hob, large fridge freezer, microwave, toaster, Nespresso coffee machine. There is a door to the garden and pool terrace, perfect for al fresco dining. * Laundry room: This is a separate room in an outbuilding and is equipped with a washing machine and tumble dryer. - Bedrooms - The house sleeps up to 6 people in 3 bedrooms. There are two bedrooms on the ground floor and a third bedroom with its own entrance at the side of the house, all with ensuite bathrooms. - Ground Floor * Bedroom 1: A double bedroom with a 160cm bed, with a Juliet balcony, TV and built in storage. The en-suite shower room has a shower, washbasin and w.c. * Bedroom 2: A double bedroom with high ceilings, a 160cm bed, with access to the garden and breakfast terrace, there is built in storage and a mezzanine with two single beds. En-suite shower room, has a shower, washbasin and w.c. and access to the garden. - Independent Bedroom * Bedroom 3: A large room with a 1.60m bed overlooking the garden and its own breakfast terrace. The ensuite shower room has a shower, washbasin and w.c. and access to the garden. - Outside - The pool and terrace area is timber decking with well maintained gardens to either side. The pool terrace is an ideal place to enjoy the sun and views, the pool measures 7m x 4m and has a roller cover for safety. There are sun loungers, a table and chairs to enjoy the space. There is also a BBQ for al fresco cooking. The beautiful gardens on either side of the pool terrace offer shady places to relax, including three magnificent cedar trees that shade an ideal spot for playing boules. There is a large enclosed parking area with shaded parking for up to 3 cars, where you will also find the laundry room. The house is within walking distance of the medieval hilltop village of Oppede le Vieux with its wonderful views and several restaurants. Also within walking distance is the village of Oppede which is about 1km away and has 2 restaurants, a grocery shop and bakery, a park for children and tennis courts.
